Parkroyal Langkawi Resort just located in front of Pantai Tengah as it is in the middle of the city and is surrounded by tourist attractions such as a short walk distance to Pantai Cenang, Underworld Water, duty-free outlet, etc. Since we are staying at the resort that is just in front of the sea, of course, we are craving for some seafood dinner. So, we decided to have our dinner at Cassia, the restaurant in Parkroyal Resort Langkawi that served the grilled seafood dinner buffet.

They served noodle “Somtam” instead of the normal green salad and it refers to a variation of the traditional sinewy dish with the addition of noodles. In addition to shredded green papaya, carrots, chilis, onion, and lettuce the dish also incorporates noodles such as Mama brand noodles.
The other ingredients and seasonings typically used in Somtam are similar, providing a spicy, tangy, and flavorful dish with added noodles for texture and substance. Yes, it tastes sour and spicy!
Oh wow! Look at these beautiful seafoods and they even serve lobsters in this dinner buffet and we can’t wait to try it out!
The seafood feast starts! There are giant river prawns, mud crabs, grilled stingray fish, clams, mussels, and lobster that are being served and most of the people queue for these seafood items. We were surprised that they served good quality types of seafood, especially the giant river prawn and lobster as you can taste the sweetness and juiciness from itself. The good thing is you can pick as many as you want and there is no limit for picking up the seafood!
Not only seafood is being served even there is grilled beef and lamb being served too which taste good. You can pair it with sauces like cream sauce, black pepper sauce, etc for better flavor!
We picked some grilled meats and made them as a set like grilled barramundi fish, lamb, smoked duck, drumettes, and corn on the cob. We realized we ate a lot of meat instead of vegetables but it’s ok to be like this sometimes!
There are seafood dishes that are being cooked differently and the mussel green curry tastes good with the aroma of green chili curry and coconut milk.
Finally, it comes to dessert and there are different ice cream flavours such as strawberry, chocolate, and coconut and you can choose toppings for enjoying the ice cream!
We prefer coconut flavor as it has a creamy texture and a refreshing tropical taste. Coconut ice cream is popular in Malaysia, where it is often served with toppings like roasted peanuts or corn.
Pineapple style for the fruit skewers display and it looks interesting and convenient for someone to eat different types of fruit at the same time.
