Booking
I have booked this hotel for RM412/night through GHA app. I was amazed to keep the room in middle of KL under RM500. Although, this rate doesn’t include breakfast and lounge access, GHA titanium members are offered to complimentary access for lounge and breakfast. If you are the member of the GHA titanium, it worth more than RM200 value as the price difference between a regular room and a lounge access room is about RM200.
Check-in
I arrived the hotel in early morning about 9AM, so I choose to put mu luggage at the hotel and went out for hanging around in center of KL. The location is big plus especially when you want to shopping in the mall as the distance to Pavilion is only about 10mins walk.
When coming from shopping around 3PM, the reception was almost pack of the people who are waiting for check-in. Although I have already finished check-in, there was no counter for just collecting the key, so no choice I wait at the same queue for check-in. It would be better if there is the counter only for pick up the key.
After more than 20mins of waiting, I finally collected the key, however, I was a bit disappointed as there was no room available for a room upgrade.

Lifestyle Premier King
The Lifestyle Premier King room is designed with modern aesthetics and comfort in mind. Guests have praised its spacious layout and contemporary decor. The room features a comfortable king-sized bed, ample storage, and a well-appointed bathroom.
Room Experience
After a long day of strolling through the city center, we were exhausted and went straight to bed. However, to our surprise, we found some small bugs inside the bed. We immediately called the staff to clean the room, expecting them to offer a room change—which would have been common sense in this situation. Surprisingly, they didn’t offer a room change at all. Since it was late at night, and we were too tired to move rooms, we just waited until they finished cleaning. While the cleaning was handled, it was disappointing that the staff didn’t proactively offer a solution, as a hotel of this standard should have.
Facility
The pool area is beautifully designed, and I liked the greenery surrounding it, making it feel peaceful despite being in the city. However, I found the pool size to be quite small for a hotel of this scale, and during peak hours, it felt a little crowded.
The gym is modern and well-equipped, and I loved that it’s open 24 hours, making it convenient for all schedules. However, while the equipment is high quality, the space itself is not very big, so if you go during busy hours, you may have to wait to use certain machines.
Lounge
Guests with lounge access can enjoy the COLLECTION Executive Club Lounge on the sixth floor, open daily from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm. It offers:
- Breakfast: 6:30 am to 10:30 am on weekdays; until 11:00 am on weekends and public holidays.
- Evening Cocktails and Canapés: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
- All-day Snacks and Non-alcoholic Beverages available throughout lounge hours.
The lounge has a modern and comfortable ambiance with plush seating, workstations, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. However, it was quite full of people, which may affect the overall experience if you’re looking for a quiet retreat.
Breakfast
The breakfast buffet at Thyme, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, provides a diverse selection of Western and Asian dishes. I appreciate the variety, though there can be improved especially the quality of omelets.
Additionally, the breakfast area was really packed with people, so I highly recommend going early to avoid the crowd.
