Sensoji Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the Asakusa district of Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the most famous and popular temples in the city, attracting millions of visitors each year. The temple was founded in the 7th century and the current main hall of the temple was built in 1958, after the original building was destroyed during World War II.
One of the most distinctive features of Sensoji Temple is the Kaminarimon, or Thunder Gate, which is the outer gate of the temple.

When going into the gate, there is the main hall temple that full of people that pray or either visit around.

You can throw 5JPY coin(In Japanese, 5 yen is pronounced “goen” and means bring luck in Japanese) in this big case for wishing some luck of the year.

Omikuji is a type of Japanese fortune-telling that is often practiced at shrines and temples. It involves drawing a random fortune from a box or container, which is usually located near the main hall of the shrine or temple.
Visitors or prayers can buy some lucky charm from here as a souvenir gift.
There is a shopping street for selling food, snacks, gift souvenirs, and others as well.
