Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort is known as luxury resort as the rainforest and beach for creating the natural atmosphere. The dining of the resort separated into three restaurants such as ferringhi grill, spice market cafe, pinang restaurant and bar.
Our main focus on this article will be dinner buffet which is located at spice market cafe. Recently, Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort released a dinner buffet theme which is called Citarasa Kampung because ramadan season is coming soon and a lot of ramadan special food that you can find it here. This dinner buffet is available from Monday to Thursday from 6pm to 10pm only.

A lot of desserts that you can choose from it
Lamb briyani, Ayam goreng berempah, Curry salmon sauce, Sayur lodeh and Keropok are one of the main foods for Ramadan special. Lamb briyani tastes really good as the lamb soft and tender that match with the briyani rice as well. Ayam goreng berempah means fried chicken with spice that the chicken skin is really crunchy and flavourful. Sayur lodeh is a dish that vegetables cooked with the coconut milk tastes mild spicy and good flavour.
Chicken satay with peanut sauce is a must to try as it is one of the famous local food in Malaysia. Chicken tikka is a marinated spice chicken dish which is quite popular as an Indian food. Vegetable curry tastes really good too with the variety of veggies and mild spicy taste with the papadom together.
Grilled fish matches with dill cream sauce for more flavour and reduce the fishy taste. Grilled lamb cutlet is available as well not only the lamb briyani that serve with the garlic sauce and not blunt at all. Barbeque beef short rib tastes really good especially the sauce with the meat together and it melts in the mouth.
Sashimi station serves salmon, tuna, white tuna and abalone that are fresh. Sushi rolls are available for different flavour types of maki and nigiri sushi.
Ramadan special desserts taste scrumptious that makes us really want eat more because the dessert taste differently and not too sweet.
