Shangri-La Rasa Sayang is known for its luxurious accommodations on 30 acres of former private land, surrounded by lush gardens and designed around eight magnificent seaside rain trees.
This verdant treasure trove of landscaping is beautifully divided into the Main Garden, Topiary Sunken Garden, Herb and Spice Garden, and Spa Garden. The resort also offers a pleasant sea breeze and brilliant sunshine through the green trees.
The lobby is divided into two parts, the Garden Wing and the Rasa Wing, and you check in at the lobby of the one you will be staying at.
Rasa Junior Suite
The room is 62 square meters and has a king-size bed.
The balcony of the room is equipped with a bathtub, so you can soak in the tub and enjoy the garden view.
On the drawer, two bottles of complimentary mineral water and capsule coffee are provided.
Of course, the drawer contains a tea (Shangri-La) and another coffee set.
Bathrooms were polished marble and spacious. No bathtub here, but on the balcony.
A toothbrush, hair band, shaving kit, body cream and cotton buds are provided. And some of the bath amenities are from L’Occitane!
Facility
Rasa Sayang has two pools, one a large swimming pool with facilities for children.
The another pool is only for guests of the Rasa Wing, and children are not allowed to swim in this pool.
The hotel has direct access to Batu Ferringhi beach and a variety of water activities.
The view from the beach is amazing, especially at sunset.
Want to burn calories? No worry, the hotel has a lot of equipment, so just do it!
There is a 9-hole, par 3 pitch and putt golf course within the hotel facilities. Tennis court is behind the golf course too!!

Guests staying in Rasa Wing can enjoy several teas and desserts at the Rasa Wing lounge.
Evening Cocktail at Rasa Wing Lounge
Evening cocktails are another perk for Rasa Wing guests, who can enjoy a light meal and beverages, including alcohol.
Dinner at Pinang Restaurant and Bar
Breathtaking sunset view from Pinang Restaurant and Bar!! Highly recommend to visit during sunset.
The huge, juicy lamb chops were excellent.
Breakfast
A buffet breakfast is available at the Spice Market Café in the Garden Wing.
Guests in the Rasa Wing may also choose to have a la carte breakfast at the Ferringhi Grill.
