Underwater World Langkawi is one of the largest marine and freshwater aquariums in Southeast Asia. It has become one of the must-see tourist destinations in Langkawi and has attracted a large number of foreign and local visitors since it started its operation on August 26, 1995. Langkawi Underwater World is also an educational center where one can learn about marine and aquatic life. In addition, one can study the various inhabitants of the subantarctic, temperate and tropical rainforests on display.
Underwater World Langkawi is located in Pantai Cenang, a famous beach in the south of Langkawi Island on the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
