The St. Regis Langkawi is a five-star luxury resort located on the southern tip of the “Jewel of Kedah,” the pinnacle of sophisticated island living.
Surrounded by centuries-old rainforest, nature, and the Andaman Sea, St. Regis Langkawi offers the best beachfront resort experience with 85 suites and four over-water villas.
The entrance is spacious and overgrown with plants, giving the impression of tropical luxury.
At night, the bright blue light bulbs and illuminated eagle statue create a mysterious atmosphere.
The lobby has an orchid in the middle, and you check in at the reception desk, which is white and has a luxurious feel.
St. Regis Suite Partial sea view Room
The room is 70 square meters in size and has a living room and a bedroom.
The bedroom has a large bed about the size of the room and a balcony next to it.
Balcony with large sofa, table and chairs.
From this balcony, you can see the view of the Andaman Sea and the small islands with their pristine nature right in front of you!
On the cabinet, a sugar set, a capsule coffee and tea(TWG) set were provided.
The bathroom was large, with two sinks and a separate tub and shower room.
Toothbrush, shower cap, shaving kit, body cream, mouthwash, comb, loofah, and vanity kit are provided. And the bath amenities are from Remede!
Facility
Unlike the Westin Langkawi, this St. Regis has a smaller site and building and does not offer as many activities as the Westin.
The pool is small, but there are many rooms with pools.
The sand on the beach is pure white and all the sand was brought from Bali.
The gym has Smith machines, free weights, and cardio, so you can definitely get a good workout!
At night, a fire is lit in the middle of the St. Regis, making it feel like a special place.
Dinner at L’Orangerie
Breads are served first.
Mushroom soup with rich taste of blended mushroom with olive oil fragrance and served crouton taste good.
Smoked duck aglio olio is overcooked so I hope they can make it better next time.
Beef rendang tastes really soft and tender with the rich taste of curry rendang! It’s a must to try!
Breakfast
Breakfast is served buffet style at “L’Orangerie” with a choice of Malay, Chinese and Western cuisine.
I’ve never seen roasted lamb served for breakfast before.
This is their signature “Lobster Omelette”
You can drink champagne in the morning too!
