【Review】Horizon Restaurant and Bar at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi

The Horizon Restaurant and Bar was a great place to enjoy a drink or a meal while watching the sunset. There is also an infinity pool right next to the restaurant & bar. You can order a drink and sip it after your swim, or just lay back on a chair and enjoy the view of the ocean and the beautiful sunset. Horizon Restaurant & Bar serves Western Asian style cuisine and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Advance reservations are recommended for sunset views.

This sunset view makes me fall in love with it.

The colour of the cocktail and mocktail look brilliant.

Salad: Red Quinoa

Quinoa tastes like grain actually and it mixes with the feta cheese, french beans, bell pepper, chickpeas and pickled radish. The combination might sounds weird but it is a healthy dish with full of protein and fibre.

Main Course: Australian Beef Rib Eye “Tagliata”

Beef rib cooked in medium level and the meat taste really soft and tender. The meat matches really well with the cheese, spinach and pickled radish and tastes refreshing.

Main Course: Nasi Goreng Pantai

Nasi Goreng means fried rice and Pantai means sea in Malay language so means it is seafood fried rice. I know it sounds normal but do you ever eat oyster, squid, big shrimp with fish crackers in the fried rice before? The fried rice tastes really good with the well wok fragrance.

Dessert: Melaka Coconut Sundae

Fresh coconut with full of vanilla ice cream then brown sugar syrup and peanuts together. The ice cream also tastes really well with green pandan flavour chiffon cake.
