Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi is located at George Town, Penang. It is the best clan house outside of China. It was established in 1835 on the 8th day of the 5th lunar month when 102 Khoo clansmen gathered together to form an association to look after the welfare of the Khoo clansmen in the Southern Ocean.
Khoo’s Leong San Tong means Dragon Mountain Hall for the clan house stands proudly as a symbol of tradition, culture and values. It includes museum section on the side and back that proves more information about the clan house, the history of Khoo Corporation, the history of the Chinese community in Penang and much more.
