Waterfall Murugan Temple is also called as Arulmigu Balathandayuthapani Hilltop Temple due to its location in waterfall road Penang. This hilltop temple has a seven-story and 21.6-meter-high gopuram which is the main tower. This temple is reputed to be the largest Murugan temple outside of India.
Visitors will have to climb 513 stairs to reach the temple at the top of the hill, and they will surely be amazed by the six pillars inside that represent the six main Murugan temples. Waterfall Murugan Temple is much more higher than the temple in Batu Caves that consists of 272 stairs.
