Thean Hou Temple is one of the largest and oldest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia. The temple is located in Jalan Klang Lama, southwest of Kuala Lumpur and not far from Bukit Bintang. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city of Kuala Lumpur.
It is situated on a hill with a stunning panoramic view of the city. Besides, it is managed by the Hainanese community in Malaysia, descendants of seafaring fishermen from the Hainan in China.
