【Review】Hard Rock Hotel Penang Malaysia

Hard Rock Hotel Penang was established in 2009 and is the first Hard Rock Hotel in Malaysia.
Known for its 80’s rock and roll themed hotel design, the hotel offers many exciting activities for everyone to enjoy. No matter what your age, Hard Rock Hotel promises to make you feel like a rock star during your stay.

It is located along Batu Ferringhi Beach in Penang, along with other resort hotels in the area.

Like all Hard Rock Hotels, It has a statue of the iconic guitar at its entrance!

Poolview Deluxe Room

The room is 35 square meters and has a painting of Marilyn Monroe behind the bed!!

The room also has a balcony and you can see the pool as well as the ocean from the balcony.

The sunset from this balcony was truly a spectacular!

A coffee/tea set were provided on the cabinet.

The bathroom was not that big, but enough for one person.

Toothbrush, cleansing bar, shower cap, body cream, sanitary bag and vanity kit are provided.

Facility

The pool at Hard Rock Hotel Penang is one of the largest of any hotel in Penang, and the children’s pool is large enough for children. Also, rock songs are played through speakers in the pool, so you can become a rock star while swimming.

The Lagoon Deluxe, directly connected to the pool, is the hotel’s most famous room, and it’s hard to decide whether to stay in a Sunset View Room or a Lagoon Room!

The hotel is just beside Batu Ferringhi beach, but I do not recommend swimming in this beach as there are many jellyfish.

A large enough gym where you can work out while listening to rock songs.

The large pool is illuminated beautifully at night so you can walk around and enjoy the view!

There is also a Hard Rock Cafe next to the hotel where you can have lunch or dinner!

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at the “Starz Diner” on the ground floor. There was a buffet of Malaysian, Indian, Chinese and Western food, although not a large variety of dishes.
