【Review】Pullman Miri Waterfront Malaysia

Pullman Miri Waterfront is located in the heart of this small city, with rooms on the north side overlooking the Baon River, the South China Sea, and a 9-hole golf course. In the far distance is the oil-rich Brunei.

Booking

The rate on the day I stayed was 250 rm++ for a standard room and 400 rm++ for a room with club lounge. However, the standard room was not a sea view room, so I booked a room with a sea view and a club lounge.

Check-In

The hotel is located right in front of the Seahorse statue, the most famous landmark in Miri!

Despite being open for six years, the lobby is spacious, modern, and clean. Check-in was a little early, just before 2pm, but check-in went smoothly!

Deluxe Executive Room

The room is 48 square meters in size, which is larger than a standard room.

Rooms overlook lush forests and the ocean.

In the cabinet, Coffee and tea(Lipton) were provided.

Bathrooms are bright and modern and have a bathtub.

You can also see the ocean from the bathtub and enjoy the view of the ocean while soaking in the bathtub!

Toothbrushes, vanity kit, shower cap, body lotion, shaving kit, comb and sanitary bag are provided.

Facility

The pool is infinity and overlooks the Baong River, the golf course and the ocean

The gym was a small room but well equipped with free weights and machines, so you will be satisfied with your workout!

Evening Snack in The Executive Lounge

The room was too big for an evening snack and served by two lounge staff.

All the hot meals were freshly prepared and very tasty! The only thing that was a little disappointing about this lounge was the limited variety of alcoholic beverages including red and white wine, gin and beer.

The lounge is on the top floor of the hotel with a great view!

The most memorable thing about this hotel is the sunset over the East China Sea from the lounge. It is worth booking a room with a lounge just for this!
